Early Childhood Programs

The Joy Factory workshops, events and programs nourish Creative Wellness in young children (0-7yrs) which is critical for holistic wellbeing and development. This project has a mission is to give young children a safe, supported space to relax, explore and express themselves through immersion in creativity, story telling, imaginative play, and guided relaxation practices. This a very unique program based on the Soul Khemistry formula!
Programs are age appropriate and provide enjoyable experiences that comfort, engage and foster joyful and calm state. Children will have fun developing creative skills and practice simple strategies for self soothing, understanding emotions, activating brain power, learning about relationships, and making choices - just to name a few!
Each session aims to offer your child life enriching experiences that engage your child's imagination while developing new skills, teach new skills. They will explore music making, sing songs and nursery rhymes, listen to and play out stories told with puppets, play games, do nature based arts and crafts, learn super brain yoga and children's meditation. Every session has a particular theme to draw your child into a sense of wonder, safety and joy. Warm and welcoming is our haven for all children to thrive.

A Holistic Approach

​​​Our programs are influenced by the Waldorf, Montessori & Reggio Emelia approaches to early learning. Nature is central to our themes and we choose to work with high quality natural materials to engage the senses and stimulate a connection with the natural world. Our musical instruments, art and craft supplies, hand made toys & play props are derived from natural sustainable sourced materials. Silk, wool, cotton, wood, bees wax are used because these materials feel internally and externally richer, are calming for the senses and develop appreciation for the beauty of nature. All of our resources are hand made, most by crafts people in our local community.

Sharon is an Early Childhood Puppetry Professional, Therapeutic Story Teller, Vocalist, Musician, Educator and Creative Arts Therapist. She has over 25 years experience as a tertiary qualified Health Care Professional & Creative Artist.
